Shortly after graduating, Cindy Arnold got married and had three children by 1987. She used a small hobby press to print shirts and hats for her softball league. People highly appreciated the craftsmanship of her work, indicating a potential to turn this side gig into a career. To fund her venture, she borrowed $2000 from her family and invested in proper screen printing equipment. The only thing left was to come up with a business name. Together with the slogan “Our prints speak for themselves”, she named her company Silkscreams, and the rest is history.
Throughout the 90s and into the new millennium, Cindy expanded her services to include embroidery, heat pressing, and vinyl lettering. Today, her five children are the faces of the business and play vital roles in the passionate team behind the company. They are deeply committed to upholding the high standards of workmanship and superior customer service that Cindy established all those years ago.
